The Tics are a two piece DIY indie rock band from The Black Country, UK, consisting of Ben Bradley (guitar, bass vocals) and Jack Burford (drums, bass, vocals).
Formed in October 2020, from the ashes of their previous band The Tumultuous Predicament, The Tics immediately set about creating their first songs, aiming to write at least one brand new song each time they practised. The resulting album, Pure Graft is a hard hitting raw tornado of noise and chaos.
After spending a couple of years on other projects (The Bobowlers Oblong Earth Society, The Tics returned In 2024 with a second album, This Must Be The Place.
