Northern Irish indie trio The Tides released their debut, and only, album in 2006. Recorded over 2 years between Dublin’s famous Windmill Lane studios, Manor Park and Amberville. The Tides drew on 90’s and 60’s British guitar influences, producing an album from pop to hazy rock with often optimistic and sarcastic lyrics. Well received by critics, the album was released as the band called it quits. Unheard by many, the album was first made fully available online in 2020.
