We are The Trio Keening, an alternative folk band based in Invercargill, New Zealand.
We are:
Olivia Canny-McLeod - Vocals/Ukulele
Jamie Macdonald - Banjo/Vocals
Deej McLeod - Acoustic Bass/Vocals
We have just released our debut album "Middle Island" an amalgamation of stories inspired by time spent on the land and sea of NZ’s middle island. Thematically it's quite a dark album, dwelling on tales of tragedy but is ultimately hopeful. We are incredibly excited to finally be sharing these songs with the world.
