Formerly rapping under the name Slo-Mo, Hawai’i raised artist The Uce has reinvented himself after spending the majority of his career in the illmind produced Hip-Hop group "Fortilive". While spending most of his life back and forth between the urban streets of Hawai’i and the sprawling cities of Richmond and Modesto, California; The Uce honed his passion for music amidst many West coast influences. Collaborating with grammy winning producers like Symbolic one, M-phazes, and illmind, The Uce would sharpen his craft side by side with emcees like Little Brother, Skyzoo, Saafir, Planet Asia and Mistah Fab to name a few.
The Uce would eventually learn the production side of music from his aforementioned mentors, and craft his own sound to compliment his gritty northern California influenced flow, with equally silk laden vocals in the form of soulful hooks. After spending time producing for the likes of C-Bo, Rappin 4 tay, and Rittz, The Uce is now gearing up for his EP "H-1 (Westbound)". Over his own production, The Uce offers a never before seen look into the life of a poor kid from west Oahu.
