The Ultra is a four piece American rock band from Boston featuring Alec MacGillivray (Vocals/Guitar), Sam August (Electric Guitar), Pat Lyons (Bass), and Shaqed Druyan (Drums). In 2018, the band’s debut “The Ultra - EP” was written and recorded in Druyan’s basement with no budget and debuted in the Top 10 of BIllboard’s Northeast Heatseeker chart. Since the EP, the band has teamed up with producer Courtney Ballard (5 Seconds Of Summer, All Time Low, Good Charlotte) and released three singles.
"HIghtail", the band’s most recent release (February 1), is featured on Spotify’s official Hard Rock playlist. The band is writing and recording new music currently and will embark on their first national tour in April 2019.
