David Javorský (1992, Banská Bystrica) is a Slovak visual artist and musician. He studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. His work bridges painting, drawing, printmaking, animation, scenography, and music.
His artistic language is introspective and existential, engaging with themes of identity, space, and transcendence. Alongside exhibitions and multimedia projects (such as Myši na poli, performances Idiot, Hmota), he is also devoted to electronic music.
Under his solo project The Unknower, he creates electronic music with a deep philosophical and experimental atmosphere. His latest release, the album “Prevádzač tmy” (The Darkness Ferryman), continues his solo work and presents a synthesis of visual and sonic worlds – sound as a parallel form of painting.
