The UPAFTER is an alternative band based out of Austin, TX. Starting in 2004, in a small church in Elmont, NY, they began performing in the northeast. Over the past 15+ years they have had the privilege to perform at crowds over 500,000, churches, bars, conferences, and also house shows in the US and abroad. They have toured to every state in the US other than Hawaii and Alaska. Their music has been played on the radio, and sung at churches across the world. The three members of the band are Burli Johnson (drums), Bryan Joy (electric guitar, bass, keys), and Jeff Johnson (electric guitar, bass, keys).
The band has morphed over the years to a become more than your typical christian band. Although their music is heavily influenced by their faith, the songs are NOT congregational worship songs. The band hopes to inspire people to go after what they are created for.
