Formed in Georgia in the fall of 2018, this 4-piece group consists of brothers Scott and Jacob DeClue on guitar alongside Luke Martz (bass) and Jeremy Cosper (drums). The band utilizes a triple vocalist approach, with Scott, Luke, and Jacob routinely trading roles as lead singer. Scott Declue’s vocals feel right at home amongst legendary frontmen of the 60’s and 70’s, while Martz brings a modern, pop sensibility to the band’s tone. Placed alongside Jacob’s crafty guitar licks and Jeremy's naturally powerful, pocketed backing grooves, the result is a sound that bridges the gap between riff-heavy, rock tunes of yesteryear with the radio hits of today.
Four years after the band's last release, The Velvet Cab return with "Tired Eyes" . The band’s first single, “Stranded”, debuted in February of 2019. Followed by a string of singles including breakout hit, "Sunshine". The Velvet Cab are currently in the studio producing more music, while planning a string of shows in venues across Georgia and the southeast.
