The Velvet Rage formed in 2018 and have been releasing genre defying music ever since. Based loosely between Lexington Kentucky and Gothenburg Sweden, the band blends elements of shoegaze, industrial, and post-punk. Lyrically, the band has explored themes surrounding queer identity, environmental degradation, and anarchism.
