The Voltic

The Voltic is a rock band that is based in Rome. The band comprises Filippo D’Eramo on guitar, Simone Cucchiarelli on vocals, Flavio Ambrogini on bass, Francesco Pio Cucchiaro on guitar, and Lorenzo Ricci on drums. The project started in 2019 when Filippo and Simone played various gigs with other musicians.

In 2022, after playing many cover concerts, they met Valerio Recano and recorded their first single "Wait For You". The song is about falling in love with someone who doesn’t feel the same. “Wait for you is also about being powerless and hopeless” (Filo)

During the first months of 2023, they worked on an old demo by Filippo called I Want the End. They changed the structure of the song and they introduced orchestral elements to do something special.

In September, The Voltic released their latest single, Ground Zero, a hard rock song about having a difficult life.

In April 2024, they released The Darkest Town.
This new track explores the intricate and tumultuous love story between two New Yorkers, blending raw emotion with the band's signature rock sound.

The latest song Wiser explores themes of betrayal, inner struggle, and personal growth. It reflects on a painful relationship where truth and deception blur, leading the narrator to face darkness and ultimately emerge stronger. The imagery of stars, mountains, and the sky symbolizes the journey toward clarity and resilience.

The band aims to alleviate loneliness through solid rock sound.
