With band members Garrett Young (bass) and James Dunoyer (drums), the band became a fixture at Boston-area venues, garnering a dedicated following.
In April 2020, The Waitlist released their first EP. With a mix of songs recorded at The Bridge Sound and Stage Studios in Somerville, MA, as well as those recorded at home, the EP showcases the band's sound to a broader audience.
After a brief pause due to the pandemic, the band began working on their follow up single Losing My Reflection, which was released July 2021. Inspired by a friend of the band who has deep knowledge of where to find free pianos, the band released a music video involving an angry boss, a dangerous heist, and a burning piano in support of the single.
The band's latest work is a live album self-recorded, produced, and mixed by the band. Slated for release on November 17, 2021, the album has a mix of new tunes the band is currently working on.
