Influenced primarily by rockabilly-tinged L.A. punk bands like <a href="spotify:artist:54NqjhP2rT524Mi2GicG4K">X</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:16nn7kCHPWIB6uK09GQCNI">Social Distortion</a>, the Want formed in Washington, D.C., during the early '90s.
