The Weed Garden is Paul Barsom, a multi-genre composer and performer who spent much of his music career penning contemporary concert music in the ivory tower, despite having started musical life as a rock bassist. He recently changed musical addresses, though, and in the last few years has been writing and recording music closer to his musical roots, occasionally enlisting musical friends. The Weed Garden was conceived during those academy years and Boy Interrupted, the debut album for the project, was released in 2019.
