The Whisky Drought is an independent blues musician from Northumberland, North East England.
Debuting in September 2025 with the Freddie King-inspired Rambling Through Bluebell Woods, he plays everything from soaring electric guitar lines on the dark and spooky Spectres to delicate acoustic picking on the cinematic instrumental In My Blood. On the rare occasions he steps up to the microphone to sing, he delivers raw, honest vocals, weathered like the rugged landscape of his home county.
Inspired by everything from the blues' Delta roots to the present, he distills it into music that comes straight from the heart.
With more music to coming throughout 2026 and beyond, stay tuned!
