Needing only bass, drums, and an oscillator for their noisy and experimental take on grindcore, Providence, RI-based White Mice carry their demented act one step further by wearing mouse outfits during shows -- bloodied mice that look like they just barely crawled out of a laboratory alive, that is. Accordingly, fans often insist that the trio must be seen live to really get the full White Mice experience; over time, they've shared gigs with bands like Dropdead and <a href="spotify:artist:2og3FOCLYXT9H7IYE6QPUq">Lightning Bolt</a>. Comprised of Mouseferatu, Euronymouse, and Anonymouse, the trio self-released various studio and live albums (including Mouse of Mendes and the holiday record Do They Know It's Christmice?, both in 2004) before hooking up with Load Records for 2005's Assphixxxeatateshun.
