The Willing

The Willing continue to write and produce great original music in the Adult Alternative / Americana arena. They are hard to categorize however, but pleasing to an eclectic variety of musical tastes. The Willing’s first two albums, “Unfinished Business”, and “Right Direction”, as well as three singles to their credit “Ancient Astronauts,” “Angels Sing (of Christmas”), and “Wonderful Life”, are recommended.


This Chicagoland quintet played locally in the 70’s under the name Ultima Thule.
Moving to a 14 room Victorian in Milwaukee, they lived, rehearsed, wrote, took on a booking agency and toured the Midwest, covering groups like The Beatles, Eagles, Pink Floyd and CSNY. They have since all played solo, and with different bands, including two national recording contracts with CBS records, but surfaced again in 2008, all members in tact, as The Willing.


With the bands lyrical insight and beautiful harmonies, we can only imagine you will find something you like. All multi instrumentalists, they boast 5 songwriters, and there is always a new path to follow. You are invited on an emotional rollercoaster that is The Willing’s new album “Full Circle”
