Houston-based band who cut a series of demos for Sea Ell Records, three of which saw the light of day 24 years later. They were more of a blues-based garage band than a psychedelic outfit, which made their music less interesting than a lot of other bands on Sea Ell. They played hard and sang with enthusiasm, but were more heavy and intense than particularly good, despite some bluesy guitar work. The best of their released cuts is the Chuck Berry-like "Banned In Boston," which is catchy and funny, with a great beat and some cool electric slide guitar and lead playing on the fade that's worthy of Jeff Beck in his best days as a member of the Yardbirds. ~ Bruce Eder, Rovi
