Thank you so much for stopping by to listen to my music, welcome! I hope you experience deep connection with God here.
Fun facts about me:
1) I have moved houses so many times that I have lost count, but I can tell you that I have lived in 7 states of the US, and once I lived in Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬 for almost a year.
2) The year I was 9, 12 refugees from Laos 🇱🇦 lived in our house for about a year until they all got on their feet here in the US.
3) I started learning to play piano when I was 5, but I didn’t get far then because I wasn’t that interested. But when I was 13, I became interested and learned to play piano by note, by chord, and by ear.
4) I started learning guitar when I was 17, on a guitar that my mom got at a yard sale for $5. It was actually worth $5. 😅 A guy that lived in our tiny ghost town taught me a few things, and I taught myself from there. Some years later, I taught guitar at a community college for one term, and I learned a lot then too. 😅
5) I started learning Lao when I was 9, Spanish when I was 12 or 13, Melanesian pidgin when I was 18 (my most fluent language besides English, my native language, because I learned it by immersion and it’s just a trade language). I studied Greek in college for two years, and Hebrew for one term in college and about a year from Duolingo. I am kind of a language nerd. 🤓
