Formed by Milly Ballington and Leo Hicks, The
Wranglers value friendship, perseverance and have a fire in their belly that don’t quit burning. Their meticulously crafted original songs reflect this, covering everything from love and betrayal, to hitting the road with friends and that all-important sense of
youthful freedom.
The duo was formed through the trials and
tribulations of a uni band. And coming out the other side, they realised that between the two of them – they had a good thing going. After months of cutting their teeth on country function gigs, building up their brand and recording their debut single “Rewind”, they
put a band together. Taking the show on the road, they performed at venues such as Hyde Park Book Club, Northern Guitars, Leeds University Ball and Lil Nashville – building up a small but dedicated fanbase as they went. A year and a half later, there’s no stopping this train.
Highlights of their career so far are featuring on the podcast and YouTube series “Indie Tea Talk”, releasing an acoustic series of original music and covers alongside their debut single “Rewind”, performing at the Leeds University Ball and Sheffield Food Festival.
With hard work, dedication and a deep love of the music they make – the future feels bright for The Wranglers.
