The XI (pronounced THE ELEVEN) is made up of brothers James and Matt Morales, and Dave Rodriguez; three New York City based songwriters/producers who have made the shift from writing and producing songs for artists to treating each song release as the Artist in and of itself.
The team dynamic can lead to multiple perspectives as to how a song is to be written and produced. The “song is the artist” approach allows the xi in collaboration with others in the songwriter community to release songs across multiple genres; doing what's best for each song and giving each release a unique sound and feel.
