Introducing the music of Thea Watson, a seamless amalgamation of soul, R&B, and blues.
As an admirer of artists who shed their vulnerabilities within their music (John Mayer, Yebba, Amy Winehouse), Thea follows suit by showcasing her personality within her authentic songwriting, stating “I just want it to sound real. Real emotion, real instruments, raw and soulful”. In turn, she hopes her music might inspire listeners to embrace their own creativity and individuality.

Thea’s clear vision and strong work ethic have allowed her to grow organically and consequently turn heads. For instance, following an interview with BBC Introducing’s Dan Sambell and huge support from BBC CWR, her debut single ‘Love Like This’ was picked up by BBC Radio 1Extra, leading to airplay and an interview on BBC Radio 1. Thea has played many incredible shows at Inside the 22, and has proved her ability to draw in and engage an audience through her performances via BBC Introducing, including at HMV Empire and Godiva Festival.

Thea highly praises her closest friends and family for being a constant and comforting support network. However, outside of this, confesses that she doesn’t have much time for anything else apart from music - she has adopted this as her entire life, soul, and personality, and this is certainly evident in the quality of her material.
