We are Theatre of Pain, a hardcore band from Tasikmalaya formed in 2024. Our music stands on the heavy foundation of groove metal and hardcore, shaped mainly by Guilt Trip and Malevolence, while also drawing energy from Biohazard, Pantera, Machine Head, and Trapped Under Ice.

The band began after my previous project ended. I, Islami Nahdiyin, started Theatre of Pain with Kafa on guitar, Dzikri on bass, and Dickry on drums. In 2025, Kafa left and Rema joined on guitar, opening a new direction for us. Every shift in members has reshaped the band, showing that we are always in movement, never fixed.

Our debut EP, Game of Shame (2025), speaks to the struggles we see around us: obedience to power, fractured identity, systemic violence, and resentment that grows in silence. Each track is a way to confront these realities, turning them into sound that hits both body and mind.

For us, hardcore is more than a genre. It is resistance, reflection, and a theatre where pain is not hidden but transformed into strength and collective voice.
