TheBboyWannaBeDj is a renaissance man in the Hip-Hop game making his mark in different elements.


Born in Guinea-Bissau, then moved to Lisbon, Portugal, where he fell in love with hip hop culture already at young age. As a Bboy he formed the “C4 Effekt” crew, participated in several jams, battles and became a crucial part of the local Hip-Hop scene. Which led him to co-found “The ChillOut Experiment”, a collective of creative minds. But over the years his focus shifted more and more to music production. He discovered his passion and obsession for sampling and making beats. He even asked the doctors for permission to bring his sampler to the hospital, so he could play some tunes during the birth of his child. An epic moment for him, his child but also the doctors.


His productions are inspired by the tradition of grandmasters like STK, TheoryHazit, Dilla, Madlib, Pete Rock and many more. The first single "No Escuro" feat. Lisa 21.01.2021 is a laid back soul track with finest Portuguese lyrics. A beautiful voice and vibe making the last sunrays of the day shine through the soundsystem. The first solo-album is already finished and will be released by the end of the year.
