Thee Exit Band has three members; Maxwell Otieno, Meltas Javan Juma and Kelvin Athumani. The group began way early as the band members discovered their gifts at a very young age. Coming from Nairobi, Mathare they are very competitive and determined. The group initially had over 10 members but quickly narrowed down to three participants who share the same goals and have an incredible work ethic. The participants are still very young but highly motivated and talented. They are versatile when it comes to the kind of genre they specialize in but their type of music is one that speaks of love.

The three went to school and have completed their secondary level of education except for Javan. Maxwell wishes not to go to university so that he can fully concentrate on growing his art. Together, they have signed a deal with Black Market Records
