Ever since The Beatles broke up, the world has been waiting for the next perfect band to come along to unite us all in peace and harmony, and with the arrival of Thee Golden Geese's debut album Bird of the Year 2023 the planet might just be saved. First single Georgie Pie blew minds with its true story of youthful dreams turned to fast food servitude.
The fearsome feathered fourtet first emerged at the soggy dawn of 2020, with their debut single 22/39. Clocking in at a gentle 59 seconds, this is a minute of your life you'll never want back. The song is a thoughtful rumination on lost youth, nostalgia, and getting old and fat gracefully. Since then the band have caught Cooties and got 'Stuck in the Studio' but still managed to release their Honkoween EP.
Thee Golden Geese is more than just a way of life, it's also a band, featuring members of Magic Factory, Fever Party , The Conjurors, The Sneaks, and lots of others. Yes, you guessed it, they're four old men trying one more time to get famous before it's too late. So far things are working out just fine!
