Theemilyvm

Native El Pasoan theemilyvm has been singing her entire life. By sixth grade she was also participating in her school band learning to play the flute and was recognized as "Band Student of the Year" for her solo and duets. She was very successful in band, receiving awards such as "Outstanding Musician", and also playing the bass guitar for the jazz band. Outside of school, she also began teaching herself to play the guitar and started writing her own music. Her senior year her band director had the marching band show written around her. It was a medley of Beatles tunes where she had both flute and vocal solos. That year the band was chosen to represent El Paso in the State competition where the band performed in the Alamo Dome in San Antonio, Texas, making it the largest venue she has performed in. Upon graduation, she attended St. Mary’s University in San Antonio where she majored in music performance and education. She performed in many different musicals and operas while taking private voice and piano lessons. Since earning her bachelor's degree, she has made her home in Dallas, Texas where she continues to sing for her YouTube subscribers. In Summer of 2020 she began to stream her music on Spotify and other streaming platforms, while also starting a Patreon page where she shares exclusive content with her supporters. She is now being professionally produced and will be releasing original music in the near future.
