TheFuturr

TheFuturr is the lead pseudo-artist from the cinematic pseudonym collective <a href="spotify:artist:0SJSc5z8sv4KZuNmB1mXfc" data-name="WeAreFuturr">WeAreFuturr</a>, a project entirely created by Tyson William Maze. Born December 18, 2003, in Los Angeles, California, a visionary, polymath storyteller, and now owner/founder of the MoveMe.ENT record label.

TheFuturr (formerly <a href="spotify:artist:1BWdFpmX2pw8FRZ3jciSth" data-name="TyFromTheFuturr">TyFromTheFuturr</a>) has been creating music through writing and singing since he was 8 years old. Heavily influenced by a household of 7 people with vastly different tastes, a former local rock-band singing mother, and a deeply rooted hip-hop/R&amp;B loving father, Ty grew interest in creating many genres, with particular inspiration from the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:1YzCsTRb22dQkh9lghPIrp" data-name="Billie Holiday">Billie Holiday</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6O74knDqdv3XaWtkII7Xjp" data-name="Boyz II Men">Boyz II Men</a>, &#64;<a href="spotify:artist:2Mu5NfyYm8n5iTomuKAEHl" data-name="Ms. Lauryn Hill">Ms. Lauryn Hill</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3JulrApLVT81sb2HkfwMks" data-name="John Martyn">John Martyn</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7u1mqP3ykglpCB2c1p1p5I" data-name="The Partridge Family">The Partridge Family</a>, &#64;<a href="spotify:artist:4LEiUm1SRbFMgfqnQTwUbQ" data-name="Bon Iver">Bon Iver</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:26T3LtbuGT1Fu9m0eRq5X3" data-name="Cage The Elephant">Cage The Elephant</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7t0rwkOPGlDPEhaOcVtOt9" data-name="The Cranberries">The Cranberries</a>, to name a few among countless others. Releasing his first song entitled “king” many years later in 2016, but it was later taken down.

He decided to change his artist name from “TyFromTheFuturr” to “TheFuturr” as an example of growth in simplicity, as well as begin unraveling his cinematic universe. He began releasing under this new title January of 2021, and has since released over 60&#43; songs under this pseudonym alone.

An ever evolving Indie/Alternative sound, refusal to stay defined by any one genre has expanded into a larger story told by multiple self-given titles &amp; garnering a world of varied fans. He has since founded an record label, production company, and more, it’s hard not to see his vision…
