Thelonious Funk is a group of funky young lads from the Jersey Shore set to make a splash with their engaging performances and infectious grooves. With backgrounds in funk, jazz and rock and a modern pop/r&b sensibility, these cats turn every room into a party.
Kenneth Blake, William Blake, Jordan Chesebrough, Liam Fennell, Jacob Fisher, Rob Grande, Bruce Martin, Alex Siegel, and Mike Viani grew up playing together in a local youth music school and bonded over a shared love of funky music and having a good time. The group has cut their teeth playing in the historic Asbury Park music scene frequenting venues such as The Stone Pony and the House of Independents, and they are ready to take the party nationwide.
