Based in Los Angeles, CA, Therapy spent the formative years of her life in the evangelical church. However, after observing the hypocrisy and recognizing her own trauma, she began to cope by writing songs. The result is her debut EP "Therapy" exposing her experiences within the evangelical church.
Being saturated with music at an early age has developed a keen ear and musical drive that can easily be heard through the rawness of her writing & playing. Classically trained, and inspired by classical composer Frédéric Chopin, & artists Copeland, Radiohead, Julia Jacklin, & Elliott Smith, Therapy is able to draw the listener in with hypnotic and beautiful music going beyond the trauma that helped write these songs and into a place that allows them to be themself.
