KEE$H is a Toronto born multi-disciplinary artist born to parents of the Jamaican diaspora. Coming from a musically inclined family, she was exposed to various musical genres and artistic expressions that accompany them.
Her exposure to Reggae, Dancehall, R&B, and Hip-Hop strongly influences her writing style. In her early teenage years, she developed a unique writing style filled with poetic hyperboles; metaphors, similes, matched with a unique delivery that encompasses her personality as an artist.
After successfully launching her clothing line ‘Killa Garments’ that specializes in luxury limited edition items. Keesh has shifted her creative endeavours to music, while simultaneously releasing fan merchandise that is a direct reflection of the music.
Highly Inspired by the 90’s Hip Hop scene and the 2000’s mixtape era, Keesh draws musical inspiration from artists such as DMX, The Lox, Nas, Scarface, Tupac, Beanie Sigel and other gifted wordsmiths. Her lived experience of evolving in underserved communities made her well equipped to create records that resonate on a wide spectrum that appeals to a large diverse fan base.
