QUIET BLUE, by trumpeter and oenologist Thibault Renard, is an acoustic and organic jazz album born from air, wood, and time, just like a great vintage wine.
Thibault Renard, a French trumpeter, composer, educator, and oenologist, blends jazz, electro, and world music in his projects, either under his own name or a pseudonym. He has collaborated with artists like Booster, Tiken Jah Fakoly, Alpha Blondy, Admiral T, and Ray Lema, and contributed to writing notable tracks, including the theme for Hard Twelve for Beat Assailant. Quiet Blue, his debut album, was released on October 10, 2025. This acoustic, raw, and poetic work was meticulously thought out and recorded in a single day.
Thibault Renard (trumpet)
David Sauzay (soprano and tenor saxophones)
Daniel Gassin (piano)
Mauro Gargano (double bass)
Andrea Michelutti (drums)
