Thinking Head

Originating from the southernmost part of Brazil, Thinking Head was assembled in the end of 2022 by guitarist and vocalist Lorenzo Birolo. Residing in a region without new musicians, Lorenzo began his musical journey alone at the age of 16. This solo endeavor eventually led to the formation of Thinking Head and the release of their debut album, "Numskull”, on May 20th, 2023. Before officially adopting the name Thinking Head, Lorenzo had initially shared a piece of a personal demo entitled "Big Failure," which he released on social media in June 2021. The enthusiastic response to this demo inspired Lorenzo to establish Thinking Head as a formal band.
Combining classical thrash and death metal influences with a modern and intricate approach, Thinking Head infuses their music and lyrics with a philosophical, reflective, and mentally stimulating style.

Shortly after releasing "Numskull," Lorenzo met Doods Junges, introduced by a mutual friend, who would become the first member of Thinking Head besides himself, and shortly thereafter, they began initial rehearsals. Lorenzo became quickly impressed by Doods' fast learning and fluency. He was swiftly integrated into the project.
Without enough members nearby, Thinking Head entered a short hiatus. In late 2023, after putting out an advertisement searching for members on social media, Lorenzo and Doods found the guitarist Romer Alves, also known by the nickname "Kelkum", and the drummer Pipo de Moraes, completing the core.
