Also operating under the aliases 'waxcide', 'buffaLOFIsh', here Thomas Wulfe can be found at his most experimantal and creative. This musical project is his longest running and most developed but also most raw and passion filled. Evolving from a desire to be part of the dance fuelled clubs and bars of the early 90s but grew into a more sedate armchair lisrtening experience. To enter the world of Thomas Wulfe is to surrender oneself to a thing that seems to occupy the space where thoughts melt into fractals and ideas mix with twisted orbital-esque synthesised sounds, where music crosses from acoustics to alien.
Both the Thomas Wulfe alias and the waxcide alias formed the majority of the output for the initial few years of his musical presence but were harbingers of things to come if not in quantity, certainly in nature. 2022 brought a true concept album - an exploration of the use of limitations to instill creativity - very organic, rich and full of colour, this album is entirely based on a series of challenges aimed to teach newcomers to the world of syntheis. Exotic and spicy, this is raw emotion warped. This experimental and naturalesque music is nearly entirely instrumental as ever but there's the rare treats of some vocals in this years music. It’s a wild ride through the nattural world as normally only seen in the world of the likes of Sir David Attenborough on television.
