Thomboi is a queer artist from Kentucky living in Los Angeles. After spending the last four years racking up three Grammy nominations as a songwriter for household names like Kelly Clarkson and Pentatonix, she is making her long-awaited return to her solo project, Thomboi. In 2020 she dropped “Pothead,” a cult classic, racking up over 100k streams and gaining attention from Pharrell Williams himself, naming it the winner of his undiscovered artists song contest, beating out thousands of entries. The pandemic stalled out the project, as she focused on her mental health, but she’s back and better than ever with her new single “2 Of Us,” a vibey dance track dropping on September 21st. With new singles coming every few months, and a successful, always sold-out, monthly songwriter showcase, she’s only just getting started.
