Threeve is...difficult to describe.
Is it a band? Kinda. There have been so many members/guest musicians of Threeve that our numbers rival those of The Polyphonic Spree.
Is it a family? Totally. We're super dysfunctional. Examples: Rich kicked his brother and fellow founding member out of the group, and rebuilt the band with a new lineup. Then Rich broke up the band while on tour in Boston.
Our most recent release, "From Your Apartment" was started by Rich during the lockdown phase of the pandemic in 2020. The track sat around a bit, then received some help in the writing department from Omar Feliciano (The Phoenix Within), who also sang the second verse, and later from John Black (who produced the track, ultimately).
Threeve is, more than anything, an ongoing entity. Maybe we're a state of mind or something existential like that; who knows. Who really knows anything, anyway?
What we can tell you, however, is that we're digging through the vault of the old stuff. There is more music coming. That means new music, too. The adventure continues.
