Thuryah has combined the memories of a rose-tinted romance to create her debut single 'bed'. A song that encapsulates the reminiscence and yearning of a deeply painful relationship that became distorted into romance. Beginning to write her music in the lockdowns of 2020, Thuryah delved into the works of artists Lana Del Rey and Cigarettes After Sex to help inspire the sounds and lyricism of her music. This inspiration led to her using diary entries and inner heartbreak as her main direction in lyricism. She wrote her EP over a year from her bedroom in Auckland, New Zealand, and now, three years later, Thuryah has become an artist ready to share her works with her debut EP 'poetry i don't write' set to release on the 25th of October 2023.
