THYLA
Born to an American mother and a Swedish father, Stockholm-based artist Thyla is a fierce, uncompromising voice in the alternative electronic scene. Merging her deep Nordic heritage with a raw critique of modern society, she crafts a dark, cinematic space where ancient traditions collapse into a disutopian future.
Her music is a powerful sonic ritual: a heavy, atmospheric fusion of Nordic darkwave and cyber-folk. Driven by massive sub-bass and primal tribal rhythms, Thyla’s signature sound is defined by the haunting drone of the traditional tagelharpa (bowed lyre) and her deep, gritty, raspy vocals.
Visually commanding the stage as a modern viking rocker—with platinum scandinavian-blonde braids, piercing blue eyes, and sharp black leather—she doesn't just release music; she builds a rebellion.
Her debut album, Glitchgard, is out now on all platforms. Step into the northern fog and join the ritual.
