Born in Arnhem, The Netherlands, Thijs has always had a natural affinity for music. His musical journey began with playing the piano, which helped him develop a keen ear for chord progressions and melodies. This foundation expanded as he picked up drums, dabbled with guitar, and sang in a polyphonic choir—all elements that now shape his production style. Discovering the creative possibilities of his laptop allowed him to merge all the instruments he once played live and add whatever else his compositions needed. A year at the Fontys Academy of Arts taught him one key lesson: music is not something that can be created by following rules.
