Tiago Simões

Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, Tiago Simões is a young guitarist and singer/songwriter, with roots deep in the blues, jazz, rock, country, and pop music.

From a young age, music has been an endless source of inspiration for Tiago. At the age of 13, he discovered The Beatles through a friend. Never having had a guitar lesson, he started teaching himself. Drawing from the legends of Jimi Hendrix, Albert King, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B. King, John Mayer, and others, he honed a unique style, further enriched by the captivating allure of Jazz.

Tiago's influences came alive during his dynamic performances with the school band "Midnight Spirit" from 2020 to 2022, where he not only showcased his instrumental prowess but also found his voice as a singer.

Songwriting soon became an integral part of Tiago's artistic process. As a powerful medium of self-expression, it became his outlet for unraveling the thoughts and emotions tucked away within. Through heartfelt lyrics, he delves into the joys and complexities of love, relationships, the journey to adulthood, and the quest for identity. Regardless of age, Tiago's music connects with his listeners, touching their hearts and souls.
