Accustomed to composing with the desire to search and discover, in a process of constant evolution that happens in an open and shareable way, his music exists as a relatable, genuine and honest event. Tiago Sousa is currently living a particularly rich period of creation where we find, in complement to his compositions for piano, a strong presence of the electric organ, which reveal a decisively sonic motivation, influenced by the American <a href="spotify:playlist:03Ja1nVK7KG8nGBr3kaUM1" data-name="Minimalism">Minimalism</a> of the 60s, in particular <a href="spotify:artist:7DnLQaXsqcYkgm0nyDrB3r" data-name="Terry Riley">Terry Riley</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1aVONoJ0EM97BB26etc1vo" data-name="Steve Reich">Steve Reich</a> or <a href="spotify:artist:69lxxQvsfAIoQbB20bEPFC" data-name="Philip Glass">Philip Glass</a>. At the same time, a new character takes over Tiago’s piano vocabulary. Here we find organic compositions, in a fluid state, which form nebulae of sounds with indeterminate contours. Compositions that come to life through the same process that shapes mountains, rivers, grains in wood or the markings in Jade.
