Boston-based, non-binary-led group Tiberius issued <a href="spotify:album:6mAjZOk2RimjCuwUqreYDE" data-name="Troubadour">Troubadour</a>, their label debut album, via Audio Antihero (<a href="spotify:artist:3ME5MgDqwM6G3UDLmwjftA" data-name="Frog">Frog</a> / <a href="spotify:artist:7HP0tah3dIBAtu2PKxRYYG" data-name="Avery Friedman">Avery Friedman</a> / <a href="spotify:artist:4mZeGtrcxa3NRwvHY8aTUT" data-name="CIAO MALZ">CIAO MALZ</a> / <a href="spotify:artist:58f1MCgC8Q0XnjYqEpklz9" data-name="Josaleigh Pollett">Josaleigh Pollett</a>) on Nov 14th, 2025.
Originally a solo project of Rutland, Vermont’s Brendan Wright (they/them), Tiberius has evolved into a catchy and cacophonous four-piece that blends Indie Punk, Alt Country and Psychedelia with confessional, conversational songwriting to create a sound they’ve jokingly dubbed “Farm Emo.”
“Tiberius shows off their swirling mix of styles, transmuting the tumbling layers of instrumentation into something that feels both catchy and cathartic…Wright’s lyrics are detailed and diaristic, as if they were written stream-of-consciousness straight from their inner monologue…feeling like a keening form of emotional bloodletting.” – UNDER THE RADAR MAGAZINE
"It sums up Troubadour’s combination of broad scope and minute attention to detail, a blend that is extremely difficult to get right but which Brendan Wright has perfected with apparent ease." – KLOF MAG
“Their new road-tested material absorbs Punk, Psychedelic, and Country influences...The result is brilliantly eclectic, tapping into a rustic and confessional Indie Folk sound that could appeal to fans of their label-mates Frog, CIAO MALZ, and Avery Friedman, before stamping on the distortion pedal to explore a jagged and sometimes sprawling Alternative Rock sound that may bring <a href="spotify:artist:3M8MprvPoJ9oJMNLTSFSl7" data-name="Sioux Falls">Sioux Falls</a> or <a href="spotify:artist:2gbT6GPXMis0OAkZbEQCYB" data-name="Pinegrove">Pinegrove</a> to mind.” – ATWOOD MAGAZINE
