tick.tick.tick. was born out of an 8-bit processor in the spring of 2020 and creates instrumental music inspired by nostalgia through a lo-fi lens.
The first release from this trio of touring musicians who at the moment, haven't been touring.
The EP is small collection of eclectic instrumental music made while being physically distanced in Los Angeles, CA, Youngstown, OH and Hoboken, NJ between May and July of 2020.
Evolution via collaboration is the through line in our music and visual creations.
While the listener is not privy to the iterations each song takes from start to finish the visuals illustrate the processes in a parallel way. These cellular automations are mesmerizing metaphors for our creative process. Input an idea into the machine and observe it's evolution.
