TICOZET

Licebo Silinyana, born in Mdantsane, Eastern Cape,
professionally known as TICOZET
is a young versatile and talented producer and DJ who started his
musical journey at the age of 13, as he
started with production and beat-making
later in life
exploring his deejaying side.

Growing up, he had many influences
he would often find tools to play drums on
because he was inspired by a drummer from
his church which he really admired and
wanted to be good as him.

His musical journey started off by him finding
interest in making hip hop beats using FL
Studio, as a hobby for his rapper friends
where he later evolved from just a producer to also a deejay.

As he
continued to evolve as an artist, his sound
continued to evolve with him through
collaborations with different artists such as
Sha Sha, MegaDrumz, Lookatups, Lady Zamar, Musa Keys, Liema Pantsi, Miano, LA Beatz, Coolkiid, Dj Sbu, , VeeRsa, Fizzy B, Em-One, and many more, introducing him to different
genres too. With much practice he found
himself exploring into different
genres such as RnB, Dubstep, AfroBeats and soon ventured into Amapiano,
3 Step, Afro-Pop , etc.

Amapiano & 3 Step is currently the main genres
he is focused on. With the advantage of
Amapiano & 3 Step being so broad he saw a chance to
infuse all the sounds he has learned through
the years into Amapiano & 3 Step which created a
fuse of dance & soulful
Unique melodies in his sound, He aspires to
be one of the best young producers to come out of South Africa.
