Tigerberry is an Electronic Rock project from Moscow. Initially it was an anonymous one-man band, later a team of 4 musicians and even the union of a fashion designer, a beat-maker and a videographer. Tigerberry has experimented with multiple styles of electronic and rock music to end up revitalising 00’s alternative. As a beat-maker, Vladimir Berlizev has a tendency to prioritize variety: dreamy synth-pop vocals on the top of down-tuned guitars, hip-hop grooves accompanied by deep ambience and occasional dance music twists. Visually, the music gravitates towards Futurism and Scandinavian Noir. Lyrically, Tigerberry deals with psychological issues, redefining spiritual values and creativity. The sound can be described as “Dark & Dreamy” or “Melancholic”, that indirectly points at Joy Devision, Depeche Mode, Nirvana, Deftones, Crystal Castles, and The Cure.
