TikTak was founded in the late '90s as an alternative rock outfit in Istanbul and gathered a following in the indie rock scene with its live performances at "Captain Hook" - a venue which regularly hosted some of the most prominent Turkish rock bands such as mor ve ötesi and Athena.
The band released its first album titled "Şimdiyi Şimdi Geçiyor" in 2004 with the support of Hakan Kurşun and after four years of performing at various venues and festivals the band released its second album "Vazgeçme" on MySpace.
A decade after "Vazgeçme", TikTak's new maxi-single "Kimseye Kalmaz" released on May 18th, 2018 marks the band's return to the scene with four new songs and a fresh sound.
TikTak is Erkin Peprek (guitars & vocals) and Deniz Ilgar (guitars & bass).
