TIMES

<a href="spotify:artist:2PUov8B4986gcP8xaSNWbk" data-name="TIMES">TIMES</a> is the project of Luz, artistx based in Buenos Aires, working across composition, production and sonic experimentation. Moves between experimental music, sound art and performance, using sound as a critical, alchemical and political tool.

Studied Music in the Territories (UNA) and Expanded Music (UNSAM), with a focus on synthesis, electronic composition, and orchestral score digitalization. Also trained in multichannel audio, modular synthesis and sound design at La Siesta del Fauno.

Since 2018, releases music through Void Records Collective. In 2022, put out <a href="spotify:album:6hToy74b5rq2xoccYS1Dkj" data-name="Music for Breathing Without Assistance">Music for Breathing Without Assistance</a>, an ambient/noise work on oxygen as existential metaphor. In 2023 launched VRC_XP, a concert series bridging Latin American experimental scenes. That year also joined Ladridos (Chile) in a collective piece by Stéphanie Janaina, organized by Plataforma Grieta and Other People ( <a href="spotify:artist:5a0etAzO5V26gvlbmHzT9W" data-name="Nicolas Jaar">Nicolas Jaar</a>’s label), with whom shared the stage in <a href="spotify:album:4k5yiOFwlP8jbdmxsHlbMZ" data-name="Archivos de Radio Piedras">Archivos de Radio Piedras</a> (BA, 2024).
Curated <a href="spotify:playlist:253o0OVbqAubTBjC8ZsNzw" data-name="LATIN AMERICAN SOUNDS MIXTAPE - Radio AlHara">LATIN AMERICAN SOUNDS MIXTAPE - Radio AlHara</a> for Radio Alhara (Palestine), featuring <a href="spotify:artist:7yHfb2D8qIBgrzclpSsTeo" data-name="Mabe Fratti">Mabe Fratti</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4LLGTNLQEH0XNPAQSa36Sa" data-name="Concepción Huerta">Concepción Huerta</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:76hliHkgP5eIbVqLT7NmQ3" data-name="Juana Molina">Juana Molina</a> and more.

Performs live and DJ sets in Argentina and Chile. Currently working on a new album and playing under <a href="spotify:artist:4VKRHyNoR7RhqfogrwZaoc" data-name="The President&#39;s Dead Dogs">The President&#39;s Dead Dogs</a>, a raw and performative alias for hybrid live sets.
