A native of Hazard, Kentucky, Timothy Baker grew up playing bluegrass and gospel music with his family, becoming proficient on a number of instruments (including mandolin, banjo, guitar, piano, and others) by the age of 12. He began singing and writing country music shortly thereafter and has earned over 9 million views on YouTube since. An accomplished songwriter with talent well beyond his years, Timothy moved to Nashville, Tennessee in July 2018 and within a year had signed his first publishing deal. He was a founding member of the Nashville-based trio “Old Hickory” and that same year he celebrated his first major cut as a songwriter with Jake Worthington’s release of “State You Left Me In.” Timothy performs regularly in Nashville and continues to develop his brand of country music that is heavily influenced by his bluegrass roots.
