Emerging from Newcastle’s vibrant music scene, Portuguese Singer and Songwriter Tina Silva is ready to redefine the soundscape with her unique blend of AfroR&B/Soul, AfroPop and Kizomba influences. Born and raised in Portugal, Tina’s move to the UK at the age of 12 was a pivotal step in persuing her distinct musical vision, steering away from famous sounds in Portugal such as Fado and Kizomba. Fueld by a desire to create music that was close to home with an R&B twist, Tina found fertile ground in Newcastle, where she honed her songwriting skills and performed in local venues, shaping her artistry. Now, Tina is set to embark on her musical journey, infusing her English lyrics with the rhymes of Kizomba, bridging her heritage with a fresh international sound. With a focus on introducing a novel fusion to the English music scene, Tina is ready to to share something that hasn’t been done outside of Portugal and the PALOP community, bringing a unique cultural experience and sonic experience to listeners worldwide.
