An alternative metal band formed in Argentina by Japanese descendants, Tintoreros burst on the local scene in the early '90s, touring Buenos Aires' club circuit. After participating in a compilation called Alta Tensión, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs' Sr. Flavio produced their debut album, Primate, which debuted on MTV Latino with "Nunca." The band issued an EP called Traición in 1997.
