Tio Nason is a Zambian-born visionary creative who’s artistry ranges from singer-songwriter, director, designer, stylist and producer. His music style blends RnB, Soul, Afrobeats, and Zambian traditional melodies to create a unique genre-bending style.
Tio's music captures the essence of his cultural heritage and Christian faith, while pushing the boundaries of contemporary music. His single ‘Mutima’ released on 5th August 2023 proved to be a sensation both in his home country, around the continent and the diaspora, garnering over 6 Million Youtube views, and topping radio charts.
He has toured with ARIA Award winning rapper/poet Sampa the Great and has performed at some of the worlds most iconic festivals, including Glastonbury, Coachella and supported Billie Eilish on her 2022 'Happier Than Ever World Tour'.
His collaboration with Sampa the Great on her single Never Forget [Feat. Chef 187, Tio Nason, Mwanjé] , received wide acclaim after the song got featured on the Marvel Studios' feature film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (Original Score) official trailer.
